June 5 to June 8

This week we started assembling the new frame with the parts we recovered from the damaged drone. We first soldered the speed controllers (ESCs) onto the new power distribution board.

* We then attached the rest of the frame. we also configured the motors with their respective spinning directions.

* After that the bottom half of the frame was complete.

May 30 to June 1st.

* This week we began taking apart one of our drones which was damaged during a flight last summer. We are transferring some of its parts into a new frame, so it can fly again.

Day 2 (03-15-17)


* Today we worked on the UV-4 project.
* Took apart one of the QAV for parts.
* Tested the recently 3D printed duct fan.
* Organized and labeled UAV cabinets.

March 13 2017

* Restored the UAV account
* Created a new blog
* Added blog link to STEM.org website

* Planned an auto flight on DroneDeploy for the entire main campus.
